MUSIC NEWS - One of our fave alt-rockers, 311, have announced a winter 2010 tour of the West Coast to promote their summer 2009 album, "Uplifter". The newly annouced dates start up on February 23 in Santa Cruz, CA, then two more California show. The tour includew The Wailers as opening act on five of the concerts (2/25-3/2), and wraps up with a special "311 Day" show on March 11 (3/11) in Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay. (full itinerary below).
"Uplifter" marks the band's ninth album and was released in June 2009, produced by Bob Rock (Metallica, Motley Crue), giving the band a more hard rock sound. The release was their first set of new tunes since 2005's "Don’t Tread on Me."
