MUSIC NEWS - With the MUSINK TATTOO CONVENTION AND MUSIC FESTIVAL upon us, additional performers have been added to the lineup. The 3rd annual MUSINK at the Orange County Fair & Exposition Center will take place February 19, 20 and 21 in Costa Mesa, CA.
The notorious punk group NOFX has officially joined the MUSINK line-up on Sunday, February 21 in Orange County. Other confirmed bands for the Orange County festival include: The Cult, Face to Face, The Damned, Buzzcocks, The Headcat (featuring Lemmy Kilmister from Motorhead and Slim Jim Phantom from Stray Cats), Jim Rose (Circus) and The Invisible Humans.
And for 2010, MUSINK is taking the fest to Dallas this April 9, 10 and 11 at Fair Park. The post-hardcore group The Used has just signed on to perform at the Dallas festival on Sunday, April 11. Other confirmed bands so far in Dallas include the Old 97’s, Shooter Jennings, Lucero, Roger Alan Wade with others to be announced.
MUSINK will, of course, showcase world renowned tattoo artists, and in addition to the stages, artists, tattoo contests and fine art exhibits, the festival will host the 2010 Miss MusInk Pageant, live paintings, and a Legends Skate Jam featuring professionals Original Z-Boy Tony Alva, Christian Hosoi, Steve Olson, Mike V, Eric Dressen, Duane Peters and more.
