MUSIC NEWS -
THE ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND will make a rare late night TV appearance on Tuesday, March 9 with a performance on NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon”. The appearance is just two days before the launch of their annual New York City residency, which takes place this year at the United Palace Theatre with 13 shows, March 11 through March 27 (see dates below).
The iconic Rock & Roll Hall of Fame southern rockers; GREGG ALLMAN (vocals and keyboards), BUTCH TRUCKS (drums and tympani), JAIMOE (drums), WARREN HAYNES (vocals, lead and slide guitar), DEREK TRUCKS (slide and lead guitar), OTEIL BURBRIDGE (bass) and MARC QUINONES (congas and percussion) have had to move the show uptown to the United Palace for the first time since they began their NYC tradition in 1989 due to the Beacon Theatre being taken over by a new Cirque Du Soleil production. But as don't worry, expect the band to be joined by a wide variety of special guest musicians each night.
