Saw the Jeff Beck concert at Tulsa's Brady theatre. Excellent show. What a master of his tone. Plays guitar like no one else. His use of his thumb instead of a pick while simultaneously working the wiggle bar and volume knob give him a style that Eic Clapton has said no one else can do, and after seeing him do it live, you can believe it. I was disappointed that Tal Wilkenfeld and Vinnie Colaiuta weren't with him, but Rhonda Smith and Narada Micheal Walden more than held their own. Jeff Beck had the audience spellbound on a number of songs and received several spontaneous standing ovations. What a mix of song styles as well. A concert I will never forget.
