MUSIC NEWS- With Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel previously signing on to appear at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival this April (24th), we now have word of two additional concerts by the pair. Specifically, the classic folk duo have announced concerts on May 7 in Fargo, ND and the following night in St. Paul, MN. Not much yet, but we suspect more dates will be announced.
The duo originally broke up in back in 1970, but have reunited on several occasions during preceeding years for tours and concert appearances, the most notable being the 1981 free concert in Central Park in NYC before an audience of over a half million and get us a live album and dvd. They were last together on stage in the fall of 2009 when they performed at one of Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 25th Anniversary concerts at Madison Square Garden (NYC).
