MUSIC NEWS - USA indie rockers, Death Cab for Cutie are reportedly set to start work on a new album as the follow-up to their 2008 release, 'Narrow Stairs'. The still untitled album is due for an early 2011 release.
Frontman Ben Gibbard recently told MTV; "We're going in the studio in June to start working on the record.' "We're going to be recording through the summer and into the fall, probably looking for a spring 2011 release." He also said: "I certainly feel a lot more confident as a songwriter and a musician, and confident in the ability of my bandmates to make things that we'd want to listen to ourselves."
Even though they took time off after the tour for Narrow Stairs, Gibbard said that the break and time apart has had a positive impact on the band members. So fans, no need to worry, Ben reports he feels closer to his bandmates than ever!
