In addition, both performers are running contests with Creative Allies: Palmer‘s contest lets her fans upload original art inspired by what it means for an artist to be unrestricted, independent and free. The contest celebrates Palmer's recent music release, after a public two–year struggle, from her former record label.
One winner will receive a picture hand drawn by Palmer herself on the back of the webcast setlist. Twelve selected fan artworks, including the winning submission, will be exhibited in September/October at a venue TBA. The deadline to submit artwork is August 31.
OK Go's contest lets artists and designers create a new logo for a content filled USB drive the band distributes at concerts. One winner receives $100, contest submission deadline is August 1.
Both the live webcast and fan art contest are free and open to the public.
