Twilight Saga : Eclipse Soundtrack to Feature MUSE

MUSIC NEWS -  "THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE – ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK,” the musical companion to the anticipated third installment in the film franchise (out via Summit Entertainment) is due in stores and online June 8.  The soundtrack will feature songs that will appear in the movie, and be highlighted by Muse’s brand new single “Neutron Star Collision (Love is Forever).” 

THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE is due for a very wide theatrical release nationwide on June 30.  “ECLIPSE” will be the third Twilight soundtrack that British rock trio MUSE has been a part of. The band’s “Supermassive Black Hole” appeared on the “TWILIGHT” soundtrack, and for the “NEW MOON” soundtrack, the group contributed “I Belong To You (New Moon Remix).” And now, exclusive to “ECLIPSE,” is “Neutron Star Collision (Love is Forever)” that will be available to download and the soundtrack available for pre-order beginning Monday, May 17.

Author Stephenie Meyer counts herself as a huge fan of Muse as well, acknowledging them in her novel, Eclipse. Meyer unveiled news of Muse contributing the first single from the “ECLIPSE” soundtrack on her website, stepheniemeyer.com.
