MUSIC NEWS- White Crosses, the new album from Florida punk rockers Against Me! , will get its premiere via MySpace this weekend thru an exclusive listening party. The album, which will be released by Sire Records on June 8th, will stream in its entirety beginning Saturday, June 5th through June 7th at myspace.com/againstme. Be sure to check it out.
White Crosses was produced by veteran producer Butch Vig (Green Day, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins), who also produced Against Me!’s 2007 album New Wave. Against Me!, is Tom Gabel, guitarist James Bowman, bassist Andrew Seward, and new drummer George Rebelo (formerly of Hot Water Music), are currently on tour (full itinerary below). The band will also perform the album’s first single, “I Was A Teenage Anarchist,” on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno on June 11th. Gabel recently described White Crosses as "a little Bowie, T.Rex, Cock Sparrer, some Clash, some Replacements and some Primal Scream."
