MUSIC NEWS- Former Kinks bassist, Pete Quaife passed away on June 23, 2010 at age 66 of kidney failure. He had been undergoing kidney dialysis for over ten years. He played on the band's earlier hits including the classic tunes, You Really Got Me, All Day and All of the Night and Dedicated Follower of Fashion.
A co-founding member of the group, Quaife played with them for five years on several of their biggest hits before leaving in 1969. More @ BBC.com.
