Warren Haynes and Gov't Mule Embark on Summer 2010 Tour

MUSIC NEWS-  Gov't Mule has announced they're embarking on a summer 2010 tour, starting up on  July 16th that includes four Florida and Georgia dates in late July with the Dave Matthews Band, a headlining show at the Central Park Summerstage in New York City August 11th, and a show with The Avett Brothers and Truth And Salvage, Co. at one of America's best amphitheaters, Red Rocks on September 4.

The tour, in support of their critically acclaimed 2009 album 'By A Thread,' takes them from East to West, kicking off with shows in Raleigh and Charlotte, NC (Haynes's home state) and end up at the Taos Mountain Music Festival September 5th. Other stops include Boston's Bank of America Pavilion and Penn's Landing in Philadelphia, PA with NOLA funk maestro Trombone Shorty. Jackie Greene will open on the majority of the dates. He has shared the stage with Mule in the past including a memorable Halloween show in Philly where Greene joined Mule for a full set of Rolling Stones songs.
