MUSIC NEWS- You've heard the rumors, David Bowie and Lady Gaga are teaming up to work on the pop star's upcoming album. Well, Bowie has said there is NO truth to the suggested collaberation through a statement on his official website, saying; "The suggestion that David Bowie is producing and participating in the production of Lady Gaga's next album is untrue and a hoax."
The rumors of the Bowie/Gaga work gained traction a few days back, on August 12, after a scanned document showed up a Gaga Daily message board thread that seemed tolist the titles of several songs recorded for Gaga's new album; including "You and I," "Born This Way" and "Hooker on a Church Corner", as well as in-studio collaborators. On the document, Bowie is listed as a co-producer, guitarist and vocalist.
"When this tall story first surfaced a few days ago it was denied as a hoax in an update to the same article, and we thought that would be the end of it," the statement on Bowie's site reads. "I guess some folk see what they want to see though."
