MUSIC NEWS - Rolling Stones fans get ultimate satisfaction for one night as the legendary rockers take us back to the summer tour that skyrocketed their careers with Ladies & Gentlemen, The Rolling Stones. This big screen rock-umentary features classic Stones performances from the 1972 tour and a special, cinema only interview with Mick Jagger that was recently filmed at The Dorchester Hotel in London.
Jagger and Stones greats Keith Richards, Mick Taylor, Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts will take you on the road during that amazing summer tour when they rocked millions of fans at sold-out venues around the world. For the first time in 30+ years, legendary concert footage from the tour will be unveiled by the band in select movie theatres around the world.
Presented by Eagle Rock Entertainment and Omniverse Vision, the one-night-only music film event happends this September 2010 (dates vary around the world) and features the Stones in a career-defining concert, pushing the limits of their own musical power. In the USA, showings are on September 16, from Fathom Events. The footage was captured at four shows in Fort Worth and Houston, Texas on their 1972 North American tour promoting the now classic "Exile on Main Street
Ladies & Gentlemen. The Rolling Stones was originally filmed in 16mm by Bob Freeze and Steve Gebhardt of John Lennon's Butterfly Films and has been re-mastered and restored for this exclusive movie event giving you a one-night chance to go back and be next to the stage during these historic 1972 concerts. No announcement yet on the dvd release.
