MUSIC NEWS- Exciting word today that Bright Eyes will release The People's Key on February 15, 2011 via Saddle Creek. The People's Key marks the band's seventh studio album and is the eagerly awaited follow-up to their 2007 release, Cassadaga. And, support the new album's release, Bright Eyes has announced two very special shows for 2011 - Radio City Music Hall in New York City on March 9th and London's famed Royal Albert Hall on June 23rd (ticket info for both, below).
Since 2006 the once revolving cast of Bright Eyes players has settled around permanent members Conor Oberst, Mike Mogis and Nathaniel Walcott, with additional musicians joining them in the studio and on tour. The People's Key is said to be an assured and accomplished album, artfully arranged and filled with the engaging and mesmeric songwriting for which Oberst is renowned.
The set was recorded in Omaha, NE at the band's ARC Studios and was produced by Mike Mogis and engineered by Mogis and Andy LeMaster. Additional Bright Eyes players on The People's Key are Andy LeMaster, (Now It¹s
