MUSIC NEWS - San Francisco-based indie-pop band Pomplamoose happily announced a headlining tour of the West Coast. Pomplamoose's core duo of Jack Conte and Nataly Dawn will be joined by several of their friends and perform as a six-piece band. This tour marks the first time Pomplamoose have ever played headlining shows in Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, and Santa Barbara. The tour will kick off on October 21 at Hollywood's famous Troubadour venue, and the band will continue up the coast before coming back to their hometown to play a show as part of the San Francisco Jazz Festival at San Francisco's Yerba Buena Center for the Arts on October 29. Full tour itinerary is below.
The band have also recently released a music video for the song "Monster Mask" written by Ron Weiner (Futurama, 30 Rock). The video features the band's signature infectious pop, whistled melodies, in-the-studio footage and a montage of clips from classic public domain black & white horror movies.
