MUSIC NEWS - The fourth season of the innovative music series Live from the Artists Den premieres nationally on public television beginning February 3, 2012 (check local listings). The New York Emmy-nominated show connects music fans with a remarkable line-up of icons and emerging stars performing in unique and historic venues. The new season features Adele, The Fray, Death Cab for Cutie, Kid Rock, Iron and Wine, and Amos Lee with special guests Calexico.
"There's something for every music fan in our new season," says Artists Den Creator and Executive Producer Mark Lieberman. "We kick off with a rare, intimate look at Adele, the biggest star in music this year, and we made history by filming Kid Rock inside Elvis Presley's Graceland in Memphis, the world's most famous rock and roll landmark. Generous invitations from historic locations in Atlanta, Tuscon, and more helped inspire our best season yet." .
"Nothing in life moves me as much as being on stage does," said Adele, who recently received 6 Grammy Nominations, at her Artists Den taping at Santa Monica Bay's Woman's Club. "I love the closeness of playing in small rooms, and this room was lovely and simple, just beautiful."
