MUSIC NEWS - After weeks of tempting us and teasing fans with pictures, sound clips, and taunts, Forecastle Festival finally announced its full 2012 lineup. One of our favs, MikeDoughty will be playing the Louisville, KY music fest on Sunday July 15 as part of a solid roster of artists that includes Wilco, Neco Case, Clutch, and A-Trak. The event starts on Friday, July 13 (runs thru the 15th) with Bassnectar, Sleigh Bells, Head and the Heart, and many others. Saturday brings us My Morning Jacket, Dr Dog, Andrew Bird, Wye Oak, Justin Towne Earle and too many to list!
Three-day weekend and VIP passes are currently on sale. And, two-day and three-day travel packages are available, including accommodations at the acclaimed Galt House; the festival’s official waterfront hotel, located a short walk from the festival site. Additionally, these packages will include tickets to the late night after parties, which are currently unannounced. Those wishing to “dock up” for the weekend may also purchase a very limited number of “Captain’s Club” VIP boat slips, which are located at the festival site.
