MUSIC NEWS - Classic new wave rockers, Blondie has announced a an additoinal run of select East Coast concert dates this Fall, which will immediately follow the band’s “Whip It To Shreds” co-headlining tour with Devo that kicks off September 7. The just added “An Evening with Blondie” shows run from September 28th to October 7 with a special bill of Blondie and Cheap Trick on September 30. Tickets for all dates are on sale now. Debbie Harry, Clem Burke and Chris Stein, along with newer Blondie band members Leigh Foxx, Tommy Kessler and Matt Katz-Bohen, will be playing the incredible songs from their ninth critically acclaimed album Panic of Girls, as well as the biggest hits from their storied four-decade career. Earlier this year, Rock n Roll Hall of Famers Blondie received rave reviews during their sold-out North American tour and made two very special national TV performances on the TODAY Show and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to perform single “Mother. ”
Panic of Girls is colored with inspirations from New York City's roiling melting pot and street-level pop culture, featuring new wave dance gems, songs sung in French and Spanish and a reggae cover are threaded together with a timeless pop sheen.
