MUSIC NEWS- Alt pop rockers, fun. has booked its biggest North American headline tour ever! A run that includes more than two dozen gigs from July through September has Tegan and Sara on the bill to support.
The group will also appear on the Grammy Awards this Sunday on CBS. The band is up for six awards: Best New Artist, Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for Some Nights, and Record of the Year, Song of The Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for the single “We Are Young.”
In addition to the Grammy performance, fun. has a few other appearances booked this month including shows in Seattle, Austin, Atlanta and Nashville. A fan presale for the upcoming tour, for American Express card members begins February 6 at 12 pm local venue time. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning February 15.
A portion of ticket sales will be donated to The Ally Coalition to support LGBTQ equality.
The newly announced Most Nights Summer Tour kicks off in Toronto July 6. With more dates yet to be announced, check out the schedule so far.
