TODD RUNDGREN Announces Brief USA Tour

MUSIC NEWS- Rocker Todd Rundgren returns to the road with a brief USA tour this spring to promote the release of his upcoming new album, "State."

The Philadelphia native, having recently finished up a Japanese run, will begin the stateside tour with a May 5 performance in Woodstock, NY. The 11-city trek arrives mostly on the east part of the USA, and ends with a May 20 concent in Minneapolis, MN.  Todd then heads to Europe for a series of shows through mid-June.

His summer itinerary also includes the six-day Toddstock, booked for June 17 thru 22 at the Nottoway Plantation & Resort in White Castle, LA. The sixth annual musical summer camp will celebrate Rundgren's 65th birthday along the banks of the Mississippi with nightly jam sessions, according to the event's website.

Rundgren releases "State," his 24th solo collection, April 9 on Esoteric/Antenna. The 10-track album mixes rock, R&B, soul, and electronica, according to a recent press release.
