Music News- Prior to his latest album, Morrissey had some trouble finding a label for some time, and now, just three weeks after his album World Peace Is None of Your Business was released by Capitol/Harvest he's in need of a record company again. Apparently, his relationship with that company has ended.
True To You, a Morrissey zine, reports that label head Steve Barnett has decided to drop Morrissey. "Morrissey is once again in search of a record label."
We wonder how that relationship was going, on going concert cancellations, squabbles over the tour's opening act, and recently Morrissey criticized Harvest for not paying for a music video for his tune "World Peace Is None of Your Business".
UPDATE 8/14/14- Music trade magazine, Billboard has received a denial from Harvest, who state that they have a two-album deal with Morrissey and have not dropped him from the label. The first album under that contract was this year's 'World Peace Is None Of Your Business".
