Fleet Foxes Announce New Headline Shows, Festival Dates for 2018
Music News- Fleet Foxes have announced additional headline and festival dates, adding shows to their previously announced 2018 tour, including stops at Coachella in Indio, CA;, Boston Calling in Allston, MA; and Shaky Knees in Atlanta, GA. The Seattle band’s full, thirty-nine-city international tour (itinerary below, new dates in bold) routes through the southern part of the US and features a two-night return to Nashville’s legendary Ryman Auditorium. These dates follow an eventful 2017, including sold-out shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre and the Hollywood Bowl, which Billboard called a “triumphant return.” While on the road, Fleet Foxes made two appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert , performing "Third of May" and then " Fool's Errand " as well as a full session at CBS This Morning . Additionally, the band offers an inside look at their touring experience, behind--and on--stage, with special guests The Westerlies, in a video by Sean Pecknold that can be viewed here .
Fleet Foxes released their latest album Crack-Up on June 16, 2017 via Nonesuch Records, following a six-year hiatus. The band earned international praise for what the New York Times called ” a defiant artistic statement, an album that dares to feel important.” ” The album also received widespread recognition in year-end music coverage.
