"Singing these songs in America feels especially timely. 'Rally Cry' is a political record, and it's a record about how we interact with each other within our communities," remarks frontman, Max Kerman. " Over the past few years of touring, we've built real relationships with these towns that we'll be headlining. Each time we come back, the shows get little bigger and better, and for us that's a really gratifying part of the job."
The DIY promo tour in support of Rally Cry has not been short of out of the box ideas. From their Manhattan pop-up at Sid-Gold's piano bar last week to their surprise late-night fan-filled karaoke takeover in Toronto and their most inventive song premiere via a mysterious billboard & hotline campaign in Buffalo, NY, Arkells have delivered fan-favorite moments that have sent the internet aflutter in recent weeks.

In addition to the major tour announcement, Arkells released a dazzling collaborative performance video with none other than Frank Turner (Arkells were direct support to Frank Turner in the UK this past Spring). Turner took time during his tour this last September to join Arkells in the studio to record this track with the band. " I love this version of the tune." says Kerman. "His sense of work ethic and commitment to the craft has been a guiding light for me".Arkells have just wrapped a 3-week USA tour with St. Lucia, and will round out their 2018 with a headline tour of Germany and the UK this November. They will start 2019 playing arenas across Canada w/ very special guests Lord Huron.
